The long awaited 2010 Honda Insights Hybrids arrived in dealer showrooms throughout the country last week.  Being lauded as the worlds first affordable hybrid, the Insight is at no shortage of fantastic features.  The first model that hit our dealership was the 2010 EX model.  This car is nicely appointed with full power equipment, tilt wheel, cruise control, 160 watt AM/FM/CD player premium audio system, 15" alloy wheels, and much more.  The design of the car is extremely attractive and provides near zero wind tolerance. This car is rated at 40 MP City and 43 MPG highway fuel economy. 

One particularly cool feature of the car is the way that the backlit LCD  display changes colors depening on what type of power it is currently running on.  If your backlit Speedometer is Green, you are being powered solely by the electric batteries and receiving your maximum MPG's. If the backlit display is Teal, you are running on an electric-gas mix.  If the display is Blue, the Insight is currently being powered solely on gasoline.
